Why A Custom Denture?
-
Custom dentures are first made up in wax, allowing
you a chance to try them in.
-
At this fitting you can change the tooth size, whiteness or position,
make the denture longer, fuller, wider or smaller, to give you that "special personalized look."
-
Once you are satisfied - only then will the denture be processed according
to your wishes. You personally control the outcome of the final appearance.

means to you, no pre-made matrixes are used . You will receive authentically personalized dentures which will be properly

What Are Adjustments?
-
Adjustments are traditionally made to a new denture or partial denture
at no charge for the first three months after its acquisition.
-
The simplest way to explain an adjustment is when the Doctor or assistant
take from the denture in areas that have been causing the wearer soreness, agitation or discomfort. For example, during
chewing or biting, if one side of the denture hits before the other side, or inflamed areas of the gums appear after wearing
the denture, or if you feel like the denture is gagging you because of its length, all would be just cause for an adjustment.
-
Adjustments and relines are not the same. See, What Is A Reline?
-
Adjustments are made Monday thru Friday, starting at 1:00 PM on a first
come first serve basis and by appointment.
What Is A Reline?
-
A reline refers to a laboratory process
that literally relines the inside of a denture or partial denture with new acrylic material for a tighter fit.
-
A patient who has an "Immediate Denture" inserted after extractions or surgery
will find that after about 3 months or so, the denture will have become loose and require a reline.
-
In the case of an older denture or partial denture, a reline may help
improve the fit, but only to a degree. In many cases, it's just time for a new denture or partial.
-
Giganti Dental will not reline a foreign denture (a denture not made by
us).
-
There is a charge for relines, please call for information.
Will I Need The Full Amount Of Money Due
For Services Rendered On The Day Of My Appointment?
-
Yes. Since many of the services provided
are completed the day of the appointment, along with the fact that Giganti Dental does not accept personal checks, insurance
or payment plans as forms of payment, payment in full for services rendered are expected that day.
How Much Money Will I Need To Bring?
-
Please keep in mind that it is extremely difficult to know exactly what type of
work needs to be performed on a patient over the telephone, especially when every person has a different way of
explaining their particular problem. Please call our office with a brief description of what type of work is needed.
The receptionists will do their best to give price ranges and also some hard figures.
-
In many instances, only a consultation with one of our doctors would allow
an accurate estimate, after all, the doctor is the one making the diagnosis with the help of x-rays.
